A graduate of the British School of Osteopathy, paediatric specialist trained by the Osteopathic Centre for Children, registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and the Sutherland Cranial College.
My interest in osteopathy began with injuries I experienced myself rowing on the Thames. Having consulted a number of practitioners, osteopathy came to my rescue. It was so transformative that I decided to resign from an award winning retail company to retrain as an osteopath.
I graduated from the longest established and most renowned osteopathic institution in Europe, what is now called the University College of Osteopathy. I have continued postgraduate studies at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy and the British Institute of Osteopathy amongst others. I am always working to develop new skills and the most modern techniques to treat chronic illness and disease as well as musculoskeletal aches and pains.
My career began in Cornwall where I worked in both private practice and on behalf of the NHS in local hospitals and GP surgeries. I set up a successful private clinic in Looe, a picturesque town near Polperro. After some years, and the eventual sale of my clinic, I took over the running of a clinic in Monaco. I've since decided to return to my old neighbourhood to help the community I grew up in.
My initial degree was in social anthropology, and as a hobby I study osteoarchaeology. I am currently studying to complete a qualification in rehabilitation pilates, and pursuing a fellowship with the Sutherland Cranial College. Away from my desk, I love walking the Thames foreshore looking for clues about the history of London, swimming, cycling, or freediving in a lake under the Heathrow flight path!
